Who are we?
Widem Logistics, founded in 1983, is part of an international logistics group in full expansion. We have
more than 450 employees worldwide, 370 of whom work in Belgium. The group consists of several domestic and foreign companies with headquarters in Menen Belgium.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Traffic Manager for our IBERIE / ITALY department.
What does your day look like as a Traffic Manager ?
- Scheduling shipping orders to and from Spain, Portugal & Italy, either with our own fleet or with external partners of both full loads, partial loads and groupage shipments.
- You will monitor mailboxes with your colleagues and ensure that all peripheral administration is completed within agreed deadlines.
- Thanks to a modern TMS and in cooperation with our foreign agencies, you ensure optimal planning of the trucks. It goes without saying that load rates, empty mileage and profitability are important KPIs.
Designated training and job requirements :
- You hold a Bachelor of Expedition and/or equivalent through experience.
- Good geographical knowledge is good to have !
- Language skills : good knowledge of Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of Spanish and/or Italian are additional pluses.
- You have a thorough knowledge of MS-Office, experience with Navision is also a plus.
- You highly value quality and accuracy, you are quick to engage which allows you to be flexible and are driven to provide the best service to our customers.
- You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality, work punctually, are rational and stress resistant, well organized and you are communicative.
